Week 9: October 2 - 6

Dear Wynn Families,


Please review the information below for important updates.

  • Help us celebrate the Week of Respect.  The dress up days are listed below:

    • Monday - Hats off to kindness:  Students wear hats

    • Tuesday - Let’s keep the peace:  Students wear tie dye

    • Wednesday - We are all on the same team:  Students wear Wynn shirts or blue and red

    • Thursday - Throw kindness around like confetti:  Students wear a bright mix-match of colors

    • Friday - Put bullying to rest:  Students wear their pajamas

  • On Friday, progress reports and unsatisfactory notices will be emailed or printed and sent home to families.

  • All families should have signed up for a teacher/parent conference.  Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you do not have a conference scheduled for next week.

  • Students will not have school on Monday, October 9th or Tuesday, October 10th.

  • Mark your calendars for the following upcoming dates:

    • October 9th - No School for Students:  Due to Staff Development Day, there will be no school for students.

    • October 10th - No School for Students:  Due to Parent/Teacher Conferences, there will be no school for students. 

    • October 11th - Be Brave Bullying Prevention Parent Workshop:  Join us to learn about bullying prevention.

    • October 20th - Food Pantry:  Join us at 9:15 AM in the front of Wynn ES for food giveaway.

    • October 26th - Fall Carnival:  Join us from 4:30 - 6:30 PM for our annual Fall Carnival.

    • October 27th - No School for Students:  There will be no school due to the Nevada Day holiday.

Por favor revise la siguiente información para actualizaciones importantes.

  • Ayúdanos a celebrar la Semana del Respeto. Los días de disfraces se enumeran a continuación:

    • Lunes - Me quito el sombrero ante la bondad: los estudiantes usan sombreros

    • Martes - Mantengamos la paz: los estudiantes usan teñido anudado

    • Miércoles: todos estamos en el mismo equipo: los estudiantes usan camisetas Wynn o azul y rojo.

    • Jueves: lanza bondad como confeti: los estudiantes visten una combinación de colores brillantes

    • Viernes - Ponga fin al acoso: los estudiantes se ponen pijamas

  • El viernes, los informes de progreso y los avisos insatisfactorios se enviarán por correo electrónico o se imprimirán y se enviarán a las familias.

  • Todas las familias deberían haberse inscrito para una conferencia entre maestros y padres. Comuníquese con el maestro de su hijo si no tiene una conferencia programada para la próxima semana.

  • Los estudiantes no tendrán clases el lunes 9 de octubre ni el martes 10 de octubre.

  • Marque sus calendarios para las siguientes fechas próximas:

    • 9 de octubre - No habrá clases para los estudiantes: Debido al Día de Capacitación del Personal, no habrá clases para los estudiantes.

    • 10 de octubre - No habrá clases para los estudiantes: Debido a las conferencias de padres y maestros, no habrá clases para los estudiantes.

    • 11 de octubre - Taller para padres Be Brave Bullying Prevention: Únase a nosotros para aprender sobre la prevención del bullying.

    • 20 de octubre - Despensa de alimentos: Únase a nosotros a las 9:15 a. m. en el frente de Wynn ES para la entrega de alimentos.

    • 26 de octubre - Carnaval de Otoño: Únase a nosotros de 4:30 a 6:30 p.m. para nuestro Carnaval de Otoño anual.

    • 27 de octubre - No habrá clases para estudiantes: No habrá clases debido al feriado del Día de Nevada.
