Week 34: April 15 - 19

Dear Wynn Families,


Please review the information below for important updates.

 

  • Students in grades 3-5 continue testing this week!  Help make testing a success for your children by making sure they get plenty of sleep and show up to school by 8:40 AM each morning to have breakfast if they do not have time to eat at home.  Our students deserve the opportunity to show what they know, and we need to make sure we support them the best we can!  Students who show up on time and are not absent will be given extra raffle tickets to win fun prizes!  See the schedule below.

    • Grade 5 - Monday, April 15th, SBAC Science Part II at 9:15 AM

    • Grades 3, 4, and 5 - Tuesday, April 16th, SBAC Math Part I at 9:15 AM

    • Grades 3, 4, and 5 - Wednesday, April 17th, SBAC Math Part II at 9:15 AM

  • This summer Wynn ES will be partnering with Teach for America to offer a half day summer school from June 24th through July 18th from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.  Students will be provided breakfast and lunch.  Families must be able to transport students on their own and pick up students at 12:00 PM as no after school care will be provided.  Families can use the link below to sign up for summer school.  We can take up to 200 students.  Once we have 200 families sign up, all other families will be on a waiting list.  

  • There will be a School Organization Team meeting on Wednesday, April 24th at 4:30 PM via Google Meet.  Use the links below for the google meeting link and agenda.

  • Mark your calendars for the following upcoming dates:

    • April 19th - Progress Reports Sent Home

    • April 24th - School Organization Team Meeting, 4:30 PM via Google Meet

    • April 26th - No School For Students

  • ¡Los estudiantes de 3.º a 5.º grado continúan con los exámenes esta semana! Ayude a que las pruebas sean un éxito para sus hijos asegurándose de que duerman lo suficiente y lleguen a la escuela a las 8:40 a. m. todas las mañanas para desayunar si no tienen tiempo para comer en casa. ¡Nuestros estudiantes merecen la oportunidad de demostrar lo que saben y debemos asegurarnos de apoyarlos lo mejor que podamos! ¡Los estudiantes que lleguen a tiempo y no falten recibirán boletos de rifa adicionales para ganar premios divertidos!     • 5to grado: lunes 15 de abril, SBAC Ciencias Parte II a las 9:15 a.m.

    • Grados 3, 4 y 5: martes 16 de abril, SBAC Matemáticas Parte I a las 9:15 a. M.

    • Grados 3, 4 y 5: miércoles 17 de abril, SBAC Matemáticas Parte II a las 9:15 a. m.

  • Este verano, Wynn ES se asociará con Teach for America para ofrecer una escuela de verano de medio día del 24 de junio al 18 de julio de 8:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m., de lunes a jueves. Los estudiantes recibirán desayuno y almuerzo. Las familias deben poder transportar a los estudiantes por su cuenta y recogerlos a las 12:00 p. m., ya que no se proporcionará cuidado después de clases. Las familias pueden utilizar el siguiente enlace para inscribirse en la escuela de verano. Podemos llevar hasta 200 estudiantes. Una vez que tengamos 200 familias inscritas, todas las demás familias estarán en una lista de espera.

  • Habrá una reunión del Equipo de Organización Escolar el miércoles 24 de abril a las 4:30 p.m. a través de Google Meet. Utilice los enlaces a continuación para obtener el enlace y la agenda de la reunión de Google.

  • Marque sus calendarios para las siguientes fechas próximas:

    • 19 de abril: informes de progreso enviados a casa
