Congratulations to the following parents who were selected to serve on our School Organization Team: Aishia Anderson, Fatima Forbes, Donielle Smith, and Gabriel Ybarra. Our first meeting will be held virtually on October 23rd!

We have recently had altercations between adults dropping students off in the back of the school. Please follow the guidelines below for the “Kiss and Go” drop off lane in the back of the school. If we continue to have problems, we may have to close the back parking lot, and all families will be required to park and walk their students to the gates. Additionally, any altercations in any area on campus may result in those involved not being able to be on campus moving forward. We all need to model patience and kindness towards one another for our students to help them feel safe and ready to learn.

Parents may not get out of the car or park in the back parking lot.

Students should only exit when the car is close to the gate to ensure they are safe.

Students must quickly get out of the car on the passenger side and walk to the gate. Families must ensure students have their items and are ready to exit.

Parents must wait patiently in their car and may not drive around or pass other vehicles. There is only ONE lane.

There will be make-up pictures on Tuesday, October 8th for students who were absent or are new to the school.

There will be no school on Monday, October 14th due to parent conferences. Teachers will be sending home the date and time of each student’s conference on Monday. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you do not receive the information.

Mark your calendars for the following upcoming dates:

October 14th, No School Due to Parent Conferences: There will be no school. Teachers will contact families to set up parent conferences with families on this day.

October 25th, No School Due to Nevada Day

October 28th, Perfect Attendance Spirit Week: We will be sending home a flyer with information. The goal is for all students to be present and dress up to show their dedication to their learning each day!

November 1st, Fall Carnival: Information will be sent home to families regarding the Fall Carnival

Recientemente hemos tenido altercados entre adultos que dejan a los estudiantes en la parte trasera de la escuela. Siga las pautas a continuación para el carril de entrega "Kiss and Go" en la parte trasera de la escuela. Si continuamos teniendo problemas, es posible que tengamos que cerrar el estacionamiento trasero y todas las familias deberán estacionar y caminar con sus estudiantes hasta las puertas. Los estudiantes solo deben salir cuando el automóvil esté cerca de la puerta para asegurarse de que estén seguros.

Los estudiantes deben salir rápidamente del automóvil por el lado del pasajero y caminar hasta la puerta. Las familias deben asegurarse de que los estudiantes tengan sus artículos y estén listos para salir.

Los padres deben esperar pacientemente en su automóvil y no pueden conducir alrededor ni pasar a otros vehículos. Solo hay UN carril.

El martes 8 de octubre habrá fotografías de recuperación para los estudiantes que estuvieron ausentes o que son nuevos en la escuela.

No habrá clases el lunes 14 de octubre debido a las conferencias de padres. Los maestros enviarán a casa la fecha y la hora de la conferencia de cada estudiante el lunes. Comuníquese con el maestro de su hijo si no recibe la información.

25 de octubre, no hay clases debido al Día de Nevada

28 de octubre, Semana del espíritu de asistencia perfecta: enviaremos a casa un volante con información. ¡El objetivo es que todos los estudiantes estén presentes y se vistan elegantes para mostrar su dedicación a su aprendizaje todos los días!

1 de noviembre, Carnaval de otoño: Se enviará información a casa de las familias sobre el Carnaval de otoño.
