Welcome!
Hi! My name is Mrs. Lana Strong and I am the Primary Autism teacher. I am originally from Iowa, and graduated from Iowa State University. I moved to Las Vegas in 2001, and earned a Master's Degree in Education. I am also a Board Certified Autism Technician. Prior to joining the team at Wynn Elementary, I was a Montessori teacher and an ABA therapist. You will notice a very "Montessori" approach to learning in our classroom, as well as use of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods.
When I am not teaching or planning lessons, I have 3 adult children, a husband, and 2 horses that I love to spend time with.
